About the show

In this solo musical, a twenty-something’s pending carefree lifestyle is squashed when her epilepsy returns.  A bit occupied during a seizure, she only sees how others react when she comes out of it.  Planning for a gala and trying to keep a social life afloat, old habits die hard and she returns to adolescent coping mechanisms like humor, assuring everyone “it looks worse than it is” and clutching onto independence like it can be taken away at anytime.  Never afraid of a Q&A about her condition with others, a new concern emerges that could go unaddressed: is it worth asking a question when the answer will only affect yourself?
